Mandla Kayise is a leader and innovator in the field of education and student development with 20 years experience in the field. As a UCLA Student Affairs administrator for 9 years, Mr. Kayise developed outreach, retention and community service programs for underrepresented and other disadvantaged students.

Mandla Kayise is a leader and innovator in the field of education and student development with 20 years experience in the field. As a UCLA Student Affairs administrator for 9 years, Mr. Kayise developed outreach, retention and community service programs for underrepresented and other disadvantaged students.
Since founding New World Education in 1999, he has provided college access, retention and student leadership programs in the Southern California area and across the state.
Under his leadership, New World Education has trained thousands of students as well as counselors, faculty and program administrators.
He has been recognized for his contributions in the fields of education and community development. Most recently, he received the LA NAACP Youth League’s 2007 Man of Valor award and was recognized as an Outstanding UCLA Alumnus by the UCLA Academic Advancement Program .
Mr. Kayise is a graduate of UCLA. He is past president of UCLA’s Black Alumni Association, Vice-President of the Leimert Park Merchants’ Association, Co-Chair of the Alliance for Equal Opportunity in Education and is active throughout Los Angeles community.
